Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Aer Arann Islands, we recognize our responsibility to the environment, the community, and the future of the Aran Islands. As one of the few air operators flying into a region of such ecological, cultural, and historical importance, we are committed to sustainable practices that protect what makes this place special.

Lower Impact Aviation

1. Short Flight Efficiency: Our flights are just 8–10 minutes long — reducing fuel consumption and emissions compared to longer routes.

2. Light Aircraft: Our aircraft are small and efficient, with limited passenger numbers to reduce load and environmental stress.

3. Route Optimization: We actively optimize flight paths and loading to minimize fuel usage wherever possible.
