“We”, “Our”, “Ourselves” and “Us” Means Aer Arann Islands

“You”, “Your” and “Yourself” Means any person, except members of the crew, carried or to be carried in an aircraft with our consent (See also definition of passenger)

Additional Services Means any products and services purchased by and which by third party providers i.e., bus or coach transfers.

Baggage Means your personal property accompanying you in connection with your trip. Unless otherwise specified. It includes both your checked and unchecked baggage.

Booking Means a booking made by you for the purchase of a flight and which is accepted by us in accordance with these general conditions of carriage.

Booking References Means the number you are given by us to identify each on-line flight reservation made by you and confirmed by us.

Carrier Means Aer Arann Islands

Convention Means whichever of the following instruments are applicable: Warsaw convention 1929
The Warsaw Convention 1929, as amended at the Hague 1955 and by the additional protocol No. 4 of Montreal 1975.
The Montreal Convention 1999, Convention for the unification of certain rules for international carriage by air as supplemented by the Guadalajara Convention 1961 where applicable.

Damage Includes death, wounding or bodily injury to a passenger and loss, partial loss or theft or other damage to baggage of whatsoever nature arising out of or in connection with carriage performed by us.

Days Means calendar days, including all seven days of the week; for the purpose of notification, the day upon which notice is dispatched shall not be counted.

EC Regulation Means Council Regulation 2027/97 on air carrier liability in the event of accidents as amended by the European Parliament and Council Regulation 889/2002.

Fare Means the amount paid or to be paid for the relevant flight.

Flight Means a single flight from one airport to another.

General Conditions of Carriage Means these terms and conditions governing your booking, published by us and in effect from time to time.

Journey Means a single flight from one airport to another airport.

Passenger Means any person, except members of crew, carried or to be carried in an aircraft with our consent (see also definition for “you”, “your” and “yourself”

Special Drawing Right Is a unit fluctuating in value by reference to a basket of major currencies used in international trade and finance as determined by the International monetary Fund. It is used to fix, from time to time a Sterling or other currency equivalent.

Tarif Means the Fares, Rates, Charges, and conditions applicable thereto.

Ticket Means the confirmation of flight details and (including the booking reference) together with the general conditions of carriage and important notices issued by us or on our behalf (whether in the form of a confirmation letter or equivalent information on the website) and the boarding pass issued at check – in.

Unchecked Baggage Means all personal items taken onboard by a passenger and any baggage other than checked baggage. Alternatively referred to as “hand luggage”
